Description

▪ Cropping Operations
o Provide regular and ongoing equipment operational training to the operators to ensure equipment is operated efficiently and safely.
o Work with the General Manager-Crop and the Agronomist to develop an annualised operational plan across all field operations involving equipment.
o Working alongside the Agronomist, ensure that daily, weekly, and monthly planning is carried out so that all crops are planted, managed, and harvested on time to achieve crop yield and forage quality objectives.
o Implement the day to day cropping operations, covering various activities such as pesticide application, fertilizer and manure spreading, planting, and harvesting.
o Collaborate with the Workshop Manager, maintain equipment servicing schedules and ensure all equipment is serviced to a high standard and according to the service intervals.
o Ensure the operational team Health and Safety standards are maintained to the highest level.
