Responsibilities

As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible to supervise and coordinate the activities of operators and technicians during a specific shift to ensure smooth operation of the flotation plant. Key responsibilities:
• Monitoring process parameters and equipment performance to maintain optimum production levels and quality standards
• Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and coordinating with maintenance personnel to ensure timely repairs
• Implementing safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
• Training and mentoring shift personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge of flotation processes and equipment
• Maintaining accurate records of shift activities, including production metrics, equipment downtime, and process deviations
• Communicating effectively with other shifts, as well as with management and support personnel, to facilitate smooth handovers and address any issues that may arise
