Leadingmulti-disciplinary team is looking for a Mechanical EngineerDepartment Manager for their Detroitteam!

Responsibilities:
• Workwith Project Managers within theorganization
• Creatework plans/estimates for department staff assigned projects
• Ensurework meets QA/QC standards and clientexpectations
• Superviseprojects/staff
• Meetperformancemetrics/goals
• Prepareproposals and administer projectcontracts
• Maintainbacklogs/manpower forecasts for proper staffing and departmentutilization
• Performannual reviews and timecards/expense report approvals forstaff
• AssistHuman Resources with recruiting andtraining
• Participatein various tradeorganizations
• Assistwith businessdevelopment

Requirements:
• BSDegree in Mechanical Engineeringpreferred
• 8+years of mechanical design experience in a consultingenvironment
• Experiencedesigning Healthcare, Sports, Commercial, Public Sector,Industrial, Education, and/or Institutionalprojects
• PELicensepreferred
• Workingknowledge ofRevit
