Credit Controller (6 Month Fixed Term Contract)

Our client based in Gloucester is looking for a Credit Controller to manage the allocated customer base and work with relevant stakeholders to ensure that prompt payment is made, and appropriate actions are taken to follow up non-payment.

Responsibilities -
• Work as a team of 4 Credit Controllers to prevent and reduce debt.
• Deliver excellent customer service to customers.
• Work collaboratively with sales representatives across ledgers.
• Chase debtors promptly to ensure debts are received in a timely manner.
• Monitor and identify changes in payment patterns.
• End to end ownership of the debt chasing process for your ledger of accounts to include documentation, query resolution and dunning letters.
• Onboarding of new customers, including credit checks with reference agencies.
• Propose solutions to reduce debt and take effective action, to include the negotiation of payment plans.
