Our client is seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to join their team, based in Saldanha.

Successful candidate will support the Procurement Manager in implementing and maintaining purchasing, contract management and vendor management strategies and processes, and to ensure compliant and consistent supply of goods and services to achieve the best value for the company.

Minimum Requirements:-
• B. Com or relevant tertiary qualification
• Computer literacy with a high degree of proficiency in MS Excel
• Minimum 8 years' experience in a similar senior role
• Knowledge of the specific regulations and laws governing the fishing industry in South Africa, including fishing permits, quotas, and sustainability measures are an advantage
• Understanding of supply chain processes in the fishing industry context, preferable
