Required to work closely will all departments of the Company. The primary roles of the a Supply Chain Planner are to:

Predominantly source products from overseas suppliers (and some local suppliers).

Optimize the Stock Levels of the Company (Inventory Optimisation)

Minimise the occurrence of Stock outs

Continuously bench mark the current prices being paid against product available from other/new suppliers always ensuring there is no compromise on quality.

Source current products at cheaper prices.

Source new products for the Company.

Forecast demand for our products and order accordingly

Main Duties And Responsibilities

Optimisation of the full supply chain for the business

Forecasting, current inventory needs, immediate customer demands, and probable future sales to maintain balance between fulfilment and replenishment needs

Creating inventory reports and presenting stock requirements to Management
