Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of a Shift Superintendent to be based at the Springs site. The successful candidate will report to the Shift Manager.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Responsible for day to day managing of operations on the floor. Helping the Shift Manager with managing safety, people management, quality, delivery and execution of the daily and weekly production plans. Ensure that Process orders are created and closed on time. Help reduce cost.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

SAFETY
• Responsible for good catches and BOSs for the department.
• Responsible for raising job cards for all safety issues of the department.
• Responsible for following up with engineering to ensure that all open safety action items in the department are closed out.
