Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Quality Inspector in the Agriculture Department to be based at the McCain Delmas site, Mpumalanga. The successful candidate will report to the Seedstore Superintendent.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The purpose of the job is to provide the Seed department with precise quality reports on all incoming and outgoing potato seed as well as potato seed’s quality report during receiving, storage and production (grading, bagging and reworks).

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
• Adjust the production machine to achieve desired quality.
• Escalate to Seed store management all quality deviation seed store issues related but not limited to safety, task given etc.
• Advise the Seed store team members of practices to improve quality of potato seed on varies stages.
