• The Research in Inclusion and Township Economies RITE Research Niche Area at the University of Fort Hare seeks to recruit A Post-Doctoral Research fellow to commence as soon as possible. This position will support the ongoing research activities on Township Economies and inclusion.
• The Funding is valued at R300 000 per annum. It is tenable for one year and renewable for up to three 3 years, subject to satisfactory performance.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Doctoral degree in Human settlements, Economics or a related field obtained after the 2019 academic
• Research in any of the focus
• Applied knowledge of research design, good computer skills and experience with relevant statistical
• Knowledge and experience of qualitative research methods will be an added
• Preference will be given to South African Citizens or holders of South African Permanent Residence, female applicants and applicants with experience with human settlements research.
