Advert Learning Assistant (7/03040) Stranraer Academy Cluster Based at St Joseph’s RC Primary School £16,855.01 - £17,947.23

We are seeking to appoint a capable and enthusiastic Learning Assistant with the desired personal qualities and skills to join the staff team within the Stranraer Academy Cluster based at St Joseph’s RC Primary School.

You will be required to support pupils with additional support needs to overcome barriers to their learning and reach their full potential.

This position is for 27.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will have Standard Grade English and Maths at Level 3 (or equivalent) and experience of working with children and/or young people.

Experience of working with children/young people with additional support need.

A willingness to undertake training will be required.

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
