MEI is currently looking for a new Electrical Project Engineer to join our Glasgow based team. We have 23 years of experience delivering tailored installations and repair works to our local and global customers. With our Global reach we have delivered projects all over the world from cruise ships to offshore rigs and tankers. We are currently looking to expand our engineering team to help with our growing project demand. Main responsibilities: Conducting detailed vessel surveys, take precise measurements, capture photos, engage in discussion and use technical proficiency to evaluate the works required. Have a good understanding of electrical installation standards and testing. Undertake complex technical and logical issues, fault finding and conducting design reviews. Prepare detailed project plans, delivering detailed designs packages, work packs, electrical schematics/documents, Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
