Tourism Site Sustainability Officer (Co Clare)

Key 2 Recruitment has been retained to recruit a Site Sustainability Officer to be based in Ennis Co Clare.

The role will involve the Management and particularly the sustainability of a tourism site based in Co Clare.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

The main duties of the Site Sustainable Manager include:
• Engage with all tourism stakeholders and provide training and/or focus groups on aspects of sustainability within the destination.
• Managing the Green Team meetings and communications, liaising with tourism networks and community groups on sustainable indicators and actions, collection of data, promotion of the sustainable journey, presentation of results, providing content.
• Co-ordinate the third-party certification process for the tourism attraction and facilitating their transition towards 2030 and 2050 climate targets.
