Reports: Mechanical Maintenance Team Leader

To support and ensure the optimal performance of the operations by closely monitoring and resolving process related problems while improving process control by adopting technically sound practices and procedures with competent manufacturing personnel.

Responsibilities
• Carry out mechanical inspections in designated areas, do preventative & scheduled maintenance in accordance with acceptable safety standards and carry out equipment break down repairs to ensure optimal performance of the process and to meet the production targets.
• Ensure that inspections on running machinery & equipment are carried out in order to prevent unnecessary downtime.
• Identify, verify and analyse reasons for downtime through root cause analysis and implementation of corrective measures to repair the fault in order to ensure timeous resumption of production.
