JOB PURPOSE:

Liaise with Planner on production schedules and oversee the activities of the shift operators and finishers. Achieve production targets and resolve any production problems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Production
• Discuss work planned for shifts with Planner/Operations Manager and Sales Coordinator
• Ensure availability of all required job cards for the work discussed for this period.
• Ensure that the Operators understand the work required for each shift, and that they have the right tools to do the job.
• Confirm that tooling is according to specification and ensure that all tools for production use are in good condition.
• Ensure that all production sheets are correctly filled in and are accurate.
• Ensure that all the documents required for the scheduled jobs have been correctly issued.
• Record and report any unresolved production difficulties experienced to the Operations Manager.
