Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic

Location: MCAS Okinawa, Japan

Pay: $25.19

Preferred Airframes: MV-22 Osprey experience preferred but all aviation maintenance experience considered

Requirements: Personal Tools Mandatory

Purpose and Scope:

V-22 Osprey experience preferred.

Responsible for assisting Mechanic Is, IIs, and IIIs with performing organizational level maintenance while solving unusual maintenance problems by troubleshooting, testing, and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, fuel, rotor, drive systems, and auxiliary components.

Essential Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Perform scheduled, unscheduled, phase, calendar, conditional, and special inspections as required. Inspect, remove, replace MV-22 components such as engines, APU’s, prop-rotor, tilt axis, and mid-wing gearboxes, hubs, landing gear, actuators, and all other components related to safe and effective mission operability.
