Construction Labourer

Canadyne Navigation is looking to hire construction labourers for our wharf reconstruction project in Skinner’s Pond. The positions start ASAP. There is a blackout period for the lobster fishing season which will be from July 15, 2024 until October 15, 2024. Work will resume on October 15, 2024 and the final completion date for the project is June 30, 2026. Positions start at 25.00/hr and are based on experience. Duties include but are not limited to:
• helping with demolition
• basic carpentry
• assisting pile driving crew
• assisting/signaling for heavy equipment operators
• performing hot work (welding/grinding/cutting)
• concrete forming
• concrete pouring
• working around heavy equipment (cranes, excavators, and forklifts)
• working on and around the water
• working from the barge
