Lakeshore Trading 102 cc is a Durban based company which was formed in 2003 with an understanding that South Africa had given birth to a new democracy. Lakeshore identified that many previously disadvantaged groups lacked the necessary skills in the construction industry in order to compete in the job market, and the principal business was to offer and render professional and quality training in the construction field as well as other construction related services.

During the same year a strategic decision was taken by Lakeshore Trading 102 cc to offer the services of a General Building Contractor. The company has grown from strength to strength, moving from a CIDB grading of 4GBPE to the current 6 GBPE, 5 CEPE, 1S0PE in a short space of time. From employing only 5 people the company has grown to employ over 20 permanent staff and over 40 contract staff.
