DISTRICT INFORMATION OFFICER

The Health Systems Trust wishes to appoint a District Information Officer to support and strengthen data management, data-quality improvement, and use of data for health programme and health service planning, management, monitoring, evaluation and reporting in the Zululand District of KwaZulu-Natal.

This is a fixed-term contract position, renewable based on funding and performance.

The incumbent will be based at HST’s Office in Ulundi, Zululand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Build and maintain partnerships with all stakeholders, including provincial and district Departments of Health (DoH) staff and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to ensure effective implementation of health information policies and systems in support of district health service delivery
