Description

The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure that good laboratory practices are followed, quality testing is conducted and reported, and to take full responsibility for the handling and maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for verification of routine QC performed before and after crushing and refining of edible oils
• Ensure that the detail on the Load Sheet is transferred correctly to the documents that accompany each
• Ensure the correct calculation of quantities of antioxidants and anti-foam are recorded on the load sheets
• Ensure that each customer has a fully and correctly completed Test Report
• Responsible for operating sensitive laboratory equipment
• Daily and weekly verification checks in the Laboratory
• Inspection of goods received and raw materials
• Management of retainer and shelf life samples
• Preparation of chemical solutions and standards
