Steamships Limited is looking out for a capable individual to join our Legal team as a Senior Lawyer.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Lawyer located in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. As a Senior Lawyer, you will primarily be responsible for all aspects of legal advice, drafting, implementation and enforcement of construction and land development contract documents including ancillary financing, corporate and statutory compliance matters and otherwise assisting the Group Legal Counsel as instructed in relation to all other steamships Group legal matters.

Qualifications
• Tertiary qualifications of bachelor’s degree in law from an accredited tertiary institution.
• Restricted Practicing Certificate issued by PNG Law Society
• Knowledge of all areas of law in which steamships in involved with specialist knowledge in construction law.
• At least ten (10) years as a commercial lawyer with specialist expertise in front end construction matters.
