Controls Engineer – Malvern - £40,000-£45,000

Controls Engineer required to join a leading engineering company, specialising in test automation technology, based in Malvern.

This role would be ideal for someone who holds a degree in robotics, mechatronics or automation engineering who has previous experience of controls and automation systems with a good understanding of C# and Visual Studio.

The Role:
• Determining the best way to implement bespoke automation and control process from customer supplied requirements and specifications.
• Developing C# control software. Knowledge of VB6/VBA is useful for supporting legacy systems
• Interfacing to 3rd party equipment for integration within C#.
• Knowledge of protocols such as Ethernet, Serial, Ethercat, CAN, AK protocol (over Ethernet/Serial) is useful
