Planning, organising, leading and controlling all aspects and duties assigned to you in order to achieve production standards as well as maintaining product quality, hygiene and biosecurity standards.

Job Description

The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

• The planning, organising, leading and control of all aspects and duties assigned to you in order to achieve production standards.
• Managing all labour related issues to ensure that all staff members are contributing to the objectives of the company.
• The maintaining of day-old chick quality, hygiene and biosecurity standards.
• Ensure compliance with Animal welfare and Health and Safety requirements.
• Assisting maintenance to reach their goals and objectives.
• Assisting management to implement and maintain the 20 Keys programme in the Hatchery.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of a grade 12 education.
• Minimum of 5 years hatchery experience.
