Senior HR Officer/Practitioner (Mining and Quarrying environment)

Qualifications:

• NQF 7 Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma in Human Resource management or Employee Relations

• Additional qualification in Labour Law will be advantageous

•

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an HR Officer role with:

• Minimum of 2 years in Middle Management

• Experience in a Mining or processing environment

Some the responsibilities will include:

• Payroll processing from time sheets up to the pay run (Pastel payroll experience will be advantageous)

• Assist in the compilation and submission of Mining Charter and Social and Labour Plan (SLP) Reports, as well as all other statutory and regulatory reports and programmes.

• Take responsibility for the compilation, review and submission of the SLP, including Human Resource Development Plan (linked to Workplace Skills Development and Employment Equity) and Local Economic Development Plan.
