Purpose Of The Job

Our Client is looking for a Qualified Commercial Diesel Technician, to join their Team. Duties:
• Accurately diagnose faults found and reported on a vehicle (trouble shooting)
• Carry out servicing and repairs to vehicles in an efficient manner to ensure that the vehicles do not return to the workshop with the same fault
• Conduct servicing according to company’s specifications and service sheet
• Ensure workshop quality, safety and security procedures are always adhered to
• Report any vehicle faults other than those on-the-job cards
• Work accurately and timeously to achieve both efficiency and productivity to the required standards
• Conduct road tests on repaired vehicles as and when needed

REQUIREMENTS
• Qualified Diesel Mechanic
• Driver’s license
• Able to operate Dynamometer and Test engines
• Knowledgeable in a variety of engines
