Excel Resourcing are seeking an FLT driver/Warehouse and Yard Operative to join an existing team.

The company is a privately-owned business that has grown significantly in recent years, now providing a diverse range of Logistics Services throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland

The main purpose of the role is the loading and unloading of palletised freight.

The Ideal FLT/Warehouse Op:
• Be proactive/well organised and attention to detail.
• Work on own initiative Willing/able to find a solution.
• Be able to assess a load prior to loading ie Height/Weight and stability for double stacking also weight distribution/stability assessment to ensure the freight is safe to travel on a truck.
• Carry out routine daily checks on equipment and record accordingly.
• Be able/willing to operate scanners/Computers.
• Be aware of the need to handle consignments and rebuild pallets to ensure safe and presentable to the customer occasionally manually.
