General Manager: Wartburg - KZN

Purpose of the Job:
Manage complete farming operations and oversee each section of the farm which consists of abattoir production, fish breeding and growing, pig breeding, farrowing and growing, chicken egg production, hatchery, and growing; and black soldier fly production cycle.

Required Qualifications
• Practical, agricultural knowledge and attention to detail are the main requirements.
• Aquaculture and Livestock Management.
• Preferred qualification: BSc Bachelor of Animal Science, Aquaculture.

Technical Competencies & Experience:
• Excel in team management and delegation of responsibilities.
• Experience in general livestock management, health, S.O.P. implementation and design, F.C.R. daily calculations and implementation.
• Skilled in managing daily cash flow to ensure efficient cost management.
• Must be passionate about livestock, record keeping, attention to detail and achieving set targets.
