National Retailer invites applications for Retail / Merchandising Planners, based in Durban North.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Duties
• Partnered with the buyer to achieve a product strategy to gain maximum profitability.
• Manage alongside the buyer your given OTB.
• Analyses your product category sales weekly.
• Creation of product orders.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding new products and ordering of stock.
• Develop product strategy with the buyer to ensure targets were met.
• Identify new products in industry and compile a costing for these products taking all costsectors into account.
• Liaise with the shipping department closely to ensure shipments were received on timeand to avoid any delays.
• Liaise with the warehouse departments to ensure that goods are received and the is an efficient flow of goods into and out of the warehouse into our stores on a timely manner.
• Review slow moving stock and develop on sales strategies.
