The L.D. Batchelder Elementary School is seeking a 3rd Grade Teacher long-term substitute from Monday, April 29, 2024 through the end of the 2023-2024 school year, (June 25, 2024 with snow days). North Reading Public Schools is actively looking to build a diverse workforce to ensure all students feel welcome, safe, and valued for who they are and supported to reach their potential.

Essential Duties
• Develop unit/lesson plans
• Direct instruction of students and assessment of student learning
• Able to work collaboratively with colleagues including but not limited to, grade level team, support faculty, and administration
• Communicate effectively with families regarding curriculum, student progress, and classroom/school activities
• Knowledge of standards, learning expectations, and progress monitoring
• Outstanding organizational and communication skills
• Ability to utilize data to drive instructional planning
