Teacher Responsibilities

Teach English 14-17 periods of M1-6 (Student ages 12-17) and 5-7 periods of Mini English Program (MEP) in M1-3 classes (Student ages 12-14) -50 minutes is one period.

Teaching periods are around 22 periods a week and not more than 24 periods a week. Some covering classes may occasionally be required from the school. If more than 24 hours a week are taught there will be extra payment.

Teacher will be in the school from 7.40am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday.

Duties may include:

• materials preparation and lesson planning

• making and marking of exams alongside the school administrative system

• attending or leading some English group activities

• preparing students for English events and competitions

• greeting students/parents at school gates in the morning (1 day a week)
