Our client has a big solar/substation project in Upington and is looking for a Camp Manager, to start in June 2024.

Job Title: Camp Manager

Location: Upington, South Africa

Salary: Market related

Closing date: End April 2024

Employment Type: Contract work

Responsibilities:
• Oversee camp operations including accommodation, catering, and security.
• Manage staff, ensuring training, scheduling, and performance.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Control budget, procure supplies, and manage resources.
• Maintain client relations and communication.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field (preferred) - Engineers degree is beneficial.
• 8+ years' Experience in camp management, preferably in remote settings.
• Leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication skills.
