About the role:

This role is manual and involves assisting on the wharf with the loading of log vessels. The role can involve ensuring that bundles of logs are secured with wires to enable cranes to safely lift the logs onto the vessel. No experience is necessary, however you do need to be physically fit and comfortable working on the port in an outdoor environment. Team work and effective communication are essential and we seek applicants who can demonstrate these skills.
