Duties & Responsibilities

My client, a market leader in the gaming and entertainment industry, based in KwaZulu-Natal, is seeking an Assistant Financial Controller to be a part of their dynamic team, on a fixed term contract.

As the Financial Controller, the successful candidate would be responsible for the financial and management of the department. The successful candidate should be detail orientated, and willing to work long hours and on public holidays if required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Effectively manage the administration and accounts departments ensuring that all processes are strictly in compliance with the gaming board and company policies and procedures
• Assist operations management to reduce costs and improve profit by closely analysing & reporting- on financial data and, in particular, deviations from budget
