QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12

• Trade Tested Diesel Mechanic with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.

• Basic auto electrical experience and knowledge will be an advantage.

• Willing to work and assist with any mechanical fitting work.

• Willing to work shifts, standby and overtime.

• Attention to detail and work at a fast pace in a pressurised environment

Knowledge:

• Diesel powered forklift repairs.

• 10T Diesel powered Truck repairs.

• Light diesel and petrol vehicle repairs

• Hydraulic systems

• Technical background

Skills and Behavioural Competencies:

• Planning and Organising skills.

• Communication (Oral and Written)

• Attention to detail.

• Teamwork

• Well established knowledge of mechanical drawings

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strip and assemble diesel and petrol engines.

• Maintenance of Lifting Equipment and Company Vehicles
