New Vacancy!! Our leading client in the Automotive Sector is looking to employ a Local Buyer to join their dynamic team in Kariega / Uitenhage.

POSITION INFO : Job Description :

Job Description :
• To support the Planning & Purchasing Department in achieving departmental objectives
• Purchase raw materials and components from assigned suppliers.
• Reviewing purchase orders and emailing and EDI them to suppliers.
• Monitoring to ensure the email and / or EDI is delivered.
• Resolve purchase order errors as and when they occur
• Confirm and update expected ship / delivery dates on the system.
• Daily review of open purchase order report in order to update expected delivery dates.
• Reviewing daily inventory level reports to identify potential stock outs and expediting open orders
• Maintain safety stock levels, and maintain inventory levels within assigned target limits.
