TASKS, DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES Perform the dutiescorresponding to the station or area where she/he is assigned by thesupervisor, as per the departmental standards, policies and procedures. To communicate to bothinternal and external customers in a polite, courteous and constructivemanner. To actively promote theservices and facilities of Hotel to guests and visitors Assists kitchen staff inreplenishing buffet items. Record order of guestsfollowing departmental policies and sequence of service. Greet guests upon arrivalat the outlet and assist in seating in accordance with departmental standardsand sequence of service. Takes guest beverage order,utilizing suggestive selling techniques, when specified on functionrequirements. Retrieve alcoholic beverageitems from bar and serve to guest in accordance with the departmentalstandards. Open and serve wine/champagne bottles in front of the guest in accordance to the standard.
