Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician

JOB PURPOSE

The main purpose of the refrigeration technician role is to assure the safe and efficient control and maintenance of the resorts air conditioning system, the food and beverage area refrigeration units and all other refrigerators. The successful candidate is in charge of executing all duties associated with the operation of the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration equipment on the resort, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor or her/his delegate for any work to be done, or any malfunctioning equipment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Consults daily with Maintenance Supervisor or General Manager concerning methods and procedures for the maintenance and upkeep of the Air conditioning and refrigeration equipment generally;
• Keeps the Maintenance Supervisor fully informed;
• Is on Stand by during the night in case of emergency or immediate intervention on the air conditioning or refrigeration plants or other maintenance tasks
