JOB OVERVIEW:

HIAS Romania is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Integration Officer (Social Worker) to join our team, focusing on assisting refugees, asylum seekers, and vulnerable displaced individuals to adapt and integrate into their new environment.

The candidate will operate in the following cities:
Constanța, Brăila, and Galați, with residence in any of these cities.

The emphasis will be on economic inclusion, building adaptable life skills, and empowering individuals to become fully functional in the host country.

The ideal candidates should have:
strong background in social work,
deep understanding of the challenges faced by refugees, and

the mix of skills, including:
cultural sensitivity,
empathy,
strong communication and organizational abilities, and
knowledge of local laws and resources.
