An exciting opportunity exists for a General Manager with strong mining operations experience.

Responsibilities
• Lead, manage and control all mining operations to ensure optimum production is achieved
• Optimize extraction, movement and delivery of product to processing in an effective, efficient and safe way
• Oversee and manage all aspects of the plant's operations and ensure that the plant operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with applicable regulations
• Oversee the allocation and utilization of resources, including equipment, machinery, and workforce
• Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure the timely availability of necessary resources
• Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to mining operations
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, permits, and licenses and promote a culture of safety among employees
