About Simusolar

We are an innovative for-profit company selling and providing financing for equipment systems that increase rural business incomes. We provide lease-to-own plans for farmers to purchase solar water pumps for irrigation, for fishers to acquire lights used in dagaa fishing, and for other types of equipment like solar refrigerators.

Founded in 2014, Simusolar operates across half of Tanzania and Uganda with 9 offices and 80 staff. Our vision is rural prosperity, enabled by productive equipment systems.
