Job Title: Data Engineer – SQL Specialist

Location: Swellendam, Western Cape

We are currently seeking a talented Data Engineer - SQL Specialist who excels in finding creative solutions to complex challenges.

Responsibilities:

- Develop high-quality database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server.

- Utilise advanced SQL knowledge (5+ years) to write and modify views, functions, stored procedures, and scripts according to specifications.

- Create and maintain SSRS reports and SSIS packages.

- Set up SQL Jobs for new and existing customers and maintain databases while analysing SQL queries for performance improvements.

- Conduct quality testing of new system releases, reporting queries/bugs/improvements.

- Document scripts, reports, integrations, and other solutions.
