Introduction

Fresh produce supply chain company specialising in the procurement and distribution of high quality, fresh produce is looking for an Accountant who will be responsible for accounting transactions for this business as well as 2-3 other companies within the group.

Responsibilities

Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Record and reconcile daily transactions, including purchases, sales, expenses, and banking transactions.

Foreign Currency Transactions: Manage and reconcile foreign currency transactions, considering the company's involvement in import and export activities.

Stay updated on exchange rates and assess their impact on financial statements.

Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other financial requirements.

Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
