Your tasks

Your challenge

You will be a member of our multidisciplinary engineering team. Depending on where you live, you can work from the site of Advionics in Oostkamp (West-Flanders) or Intersoft Electronics in Olen (Antwerp). As an FPGA Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for:

· Developing and testing new FPGA VHDL code

· Updating existing VHDL code

· Review of digital electronics designs

· Writing test specifications & technical documentation

· Assisting with optimization/introduction of existing/new electronic engineering processes (or tools) within the engineering department

You provide your expertise on system level together with the other team members. You report in accordance with project team objectives, requirements and schedules.

Your profile

· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronic engineering

· At least 5 years professional experience in FPGA and embedded systems design
• Expertise with Xilinx FPGAs and design tools
