Live Loud! Is a free, fun and social Parkinson's UK voice support programme to help people with Parkinson's who want to practise speaking more loudly and clearly. 80% of people with Parkinson's notice a change in their voice. This programme is designed to help strengthen and maintain voice quality.

We have a ready prepared programme of activities that volunteers can use and adapt to deliver an hours session each month. Activities might include facial and breathing exercises, tongue twisters, quizzes and discussions.

The difference it makes can be huge. One person told us: 'since attending these sessions, my voice strength has improved and I can now read a bedtime story to my grandson.'

We are looking for a volunteer to help run sessions in Newcastle Emlyn. This might be with things such as keeping a register of attendees and welcoming people, or putting together the vocal exercises, delivering a quiz or other sections of the session.

Full training and support given.
