Responsibilities The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as an Airfield Management Specialist that evaluates the day-today airfield management operations and maintains situational awareness of airfield activities and keeps the Airfield Manager informed of any conditions that may affect the safety of the airfield. Evaluates day-to-day airfield operations to ensure safe, efficient, and effective use of airfield operations/services Inspects and/or checks the airfield for flying safety hazards to include compliance with airfield criteria, aircraft foreign object damage and bird aircraft strike hazards Responds to aircraft emergencies, accidents, and incidents on the airfield Functions as the shift leader when designated by the Airfield Manager and is expected to use available resources and make sound judgment and timely decisions Requirements...
