We are currently recruiting for a CNC Turner for a Precision Engineering business. Due to increase of orders across their biggest customers and investment in new machinery, they have a need for an additional Skilled CNC Turner.

What does it involve?

The company is looking for an experienced CNC Turner who has experience working within a fast-paced Sub-Contract Machine Shop to machine parts within tolerance and in a timely manner. All machines are Fanuc controlled and requires someone with Multi-Axis turning experience.

What’s needed for me to be considered?
• CNC Turner - Programmer, Setter, Operator. (Multi-Axis Lathes)
• Competent with Fanuc.
• Familiar with Multi-Axis Lathes (Essential)
• Reading of technical drawings with both metric and imperial measurements.
• Previous experience in a sub-contract machine shop environment - working to AS9100 advantageous.
• Use of metrology tools - Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Gauges etc.
