Job Description

A global Australian company is looking for a Security Consultant to join its internal Information Security team in Sydney.

This will be on an initial 6 month contract but with plenty of project work to extend beyond 12 months.

As the newest member of the current 6-person Information Security Assurance team, you will be stepping into a role with plenty of variety. You will be delivering security architecture reviews and technical risk assessment across projects, as well as advising business, projects and IT in all facets of Information Security, ensuring compliance with the policies and risk appetite.

We need someone who has a solid understanding of Information Security Risk Management and Information Security architecture patterns.

Technical background covering Firewalls, DLP, SIEM, IPS/IDS, and Cloud principles, plus knowledge of all the usual frameworks and standards.
