Duties * Develops accreditation packages for systems networks, reviews or evaluates the security impact of system changes upon the networks and computers within their area of responsibility. * Serves as the Information Assurance Security Manager (IASM) in accordance with (IAW) Public Law, U.S. Government, DoD and U.S. Army regulation to provide the required Network Defense-In-Depth for the PM/PL and its customers. * Implements standard operating procedures, software, controls promoting awareness of security issues among management, and ensures that sound security principles are part of the organization's vision and goals to ensure appropriate levels of security. * Works with other security officers, users, computer operators, or other support personnel to ensure security regulations are followed, and that installation, command, or agency security standards are met.
