Samsung Electronics develops smart devices and leading the development of image processing technologies to provide intelligent solution for all areas of mobile devices using On-device AI models and cutting-edge Next generation camera solutions.

For a new R&D group in these areas, we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Head of R&D.

Responsibilities
• Lead R&D teams in the fields of Next generation camera (optics, sensors) and SoC architecture design for future products (Ultra-low power AI, On-Device AI).

Qualifications
• More than 10 years of work experience related to Camera or SoC areas (including Master/Ph.D. studies)
• Master's or PhD in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field
• Strong analytical skills and experience in hands-on R&D
• Deep level understanding and experience on AI image processing such as Tensorflow and Pytorch
• Deep understanding on AI, specially DNN (Model structure, Operators)
