Duties The primary purpose of this position is: This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position. The purpose of the position is to manage the training program within the unit maintenance organization. This program includes but is not limited to: on-the-job training (OJT); civilian training requirements; re-training; formal school; instructional systems development (ISD); professional military education; ancillary training; unit training planning; providing technical guidance and assistance to managers and supervisors within maintenance on all aspects of the training programs elements; preparing briefings regarding status of programs; and providing training to newly assigned personnel, those within maintenance functions and to provide training to reservists in the accomplishment of tasks herein.
