The RCM will be the bridge between the regional needs and the global strategy. The RCM will manage all strategic procurement aspects "spend, cost reduction, vendor management, working capital, risk management, sustainability" of the respective regional category.

The main tasks of the Regional Category Management are:
• Identify, execute, and realize cost reduction measures for the respective Region or as assigned by GCM.
• Identify and develop new suppliers for existing and new raw materials.
• Build the bridge between regional needs and global category strategy; influence the needs of the region in the category strategy while executing the category strategy in the region.
• Define, align, and implement regional sourcing strategies for the respective categories together with the cross-functional teams ▪ Following the functional lead by the GCM.
